Cost Estimation & Production Engineer

Job Description

For our client, a medium-sized construction company in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced Cost Estimation & Production Engineer to join the team immediately.

Responsibilities
Calculate work volumes and prepare cost estimates according to client specifications and project documentation
Prepare project schedules and financial plans
Coordinate procurement of materials and collaborate with the purchasing department
Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and requests for quotations from subcontractors
Project implementation:
Monitor and control the project budget
Collaborate with the account manager and project supervisor
Prepare cost estimates for additional works
Perform photo documentation and prepare hidden work reports
Prepare as-built drawings for engineering networks
Draft project completion acts for client handover
Requirements
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred: PGS specialization)
Confident computer skills: Excel, AutoCAD, and other relevant software
Category B driver’s license
Good command of English (spoken and written) — knowledge of Dutch and Russian is a plus
Proven experience in the construction industry
Responsible, detail-oriented, communicative, and a true team player
Employment Terms
Fixed-term employment contract (1-month probation period) under the company’s collective labour agreement
40 hours per week
Compensation for use of personal vehicle
Option to work remotely from home
Salary starting from €3,700 gross/month, depending on experience
